Background
Quartile's business commenced in 1953 as the D.F Johnson Group of companies founded by Fred Johnson and his late brother, Don. Brett Johnson joined the family business in 1982.
The D.F Johnson Group of companies, which included businesses involved in property market research, property publications, property management and funds management, were sold to Mercantile Mutual (now ING) in February 1990, whereupon Brett Johnson was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the merged businesses.
In July 1992 Fred & Brett Johnson formed Quartile as a specialist property investment, research and publishing business.
Our Philosophy
Quartile Research's mission and positioning in the real estate industry is to deliver state of the art online technology services to real estate businesses and consultants. These services are designed to enable real estate professionals to create and manage all aspects of electronic marketing, including emailing newsletters, web site production and management, online client database management and unique interactive features; such as 'house price tracking', 'property wizards', and 'calculators', and much more.
Quartile Research has been operating in the real estate industry of Australia for almost 50 years. This experience is combined with constant industry feedback and consultation to create the most powerful electronic marketing tools in Australia.
Whilst listing portals, data companies and software providers have a role to play in the real estate industry, Quartile Research believes that the business relationship with the real estate consumer belongs with individual real estate businesses. This is why all Echo 2006 services are fully badged, so that the consumer only ever sees your business as if you had developed the technology and created all content yourself.
